Fish like a girl
Earlier this month, the joint finance committee (JFC) effectively got the ball rolling on doing away with carcass tags for turkey, goose and deer. This measure was put through the committee by Representative Adam Jarchow (R-Balsam Lake) to be passed as part of the budget under the auspices it is somehow fiscal in nature. This, after legislators agreed to remove matters of policy from the budget, came as a surprise to many sporting groups. (subscriber access)
